Curriculum
At Storyville Preschool there are Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classrooms. Each classroom has a theme based curriculum that considers the childrens' interests and skill levels. Our diverse multicultural curriculum promotes growth in language arts, math, science, social studies, music, dramatic play, socialization and fine and gross motor skills.

Storyville Preschool children are encouraged to develop emerging skills in writing, word recognition, number concepts, patterns, natural sciences, color and shape recognition, and effective problem solving skills. Concepts such as using manners, community responsibility and awareness, and being a friend to others are explored in each classroom.

The unique individuality of each child is respected and the children's strengths and weaknesses are considered by the Teachers as they plan the curriculum. At Storyville Preschool we strive to build the children's self esteem and to help them learn to appreciate their own special gifts.
